Beer Caramel Popcorn

I don’t know about you, but I love getting ready for the season premiere of my favourite shows. I get comfy on the couch with my snacks and drink and settle into watching.

Game of Thrones is a HUGE deal around the world and fans have been waiting over a year to watch the high-adrenaline cult show. Because we know a lot of you have been (im)patiently waiting for GOT to start, we decided to come up with a few items you can add to your premiere party menu.

Have a look below at what we made and let us know what you think!

Beer Caramel Popcorn

Beer Caramel Popcorn

This ‘drunken’ caramel popcorn is great to serve at an adult party. It has an unexpected beer flavour at the end which lends a great twist to a traditional caramel popcorn. It won’t get you tipsy, but it will make you feel like you’re in an alehouse in Westeros. Can’t you just see Tyrion Lannister chowing down on a bowl of this?

The Dothraquiri

This drink was inspired by a summer favourite of ours, the daiquiri. The name was just fun and really doesn’t have much to do with the Dothraki. It was just fun to combine to two words together! Blend frozen strawberries, cherries, raspberries and a banana together with some white wine (or rum, if that’s your thing) and you’ve got yourself a delicious drink to enjoy while watching Dany’s dragons terrorize King’s Landing!

The White Walker

Winter has finally arrived in the world of GOT and what better way to acknowledge that than to drink a real live White Walker! Even the coconut shavings on top look like snow. Frozen bananas, pineapple, peaches combined with coconut milk and white wine are what this drink is made of. Coconut rum would also work really well. Ironically, the drink is white like winter but tastes like you’re sitting on a beach in the Caribbean.

We hope you enjoy the premiere and let us know in the comments below if you try one of these and how you like them.

Happy watching!
